Superintendent of Schools Alberto M. Carvalho attended the opening reception of this year’s Annual Countywide Student Art Show, held on April 30, 2009. The juried exhibition highlighted the accomplishments of the talented young artists attending Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The annual show included all styles, media, and technique in both 2-D and 3-D artworks, and demonstrated the development of new skills, abilities, and interests.
The impressive collection of over 400 pieces of student artwork was on display at the exhibition from April 27 - May 20, 2009.
